Our Story

Mark Hyman, Ph.D.

Mark Hyman, Ph.D. is the founder of Stainless Process Systems (SPS). He oversees the strategic development, engineering and sales operations of the company.

Before he founded SPS in 2007, Mark was the founder and president of Alliance Finishing and Manufacturing, a company that specializes in electroplating and engineering services for the aerospace, military and commercial component manufacturers. He leads both companies today, relying on his 25+ years of experience in the manufacturing and electroplating industries.

From our home in Oxnard, CA, the heart of  Ventura County's industrial & technology corridor, SPS synergizes the demands of our customers, in terms of their long-term equipment needs, and the manufacturing support they require on-site at their facility.

Mark works directly with clients to provide a high level of customer support and requirements comprehension while focusing on a solution-oriented approach. This has led SPS to become the market leader in California for pressure vessel manufacturing and on-site engineering solutions.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Chemical Engineering from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB).

"Quality through to the finish! speaks to our attention to detail throughout the fabrication process. We take pride in our workmanship and will always manufacture superior products that demanding customers require." - Mark Hyman

Engineering standards and controlled procedures allow SPS to manufacture equipment to some the world's most highly recognized standards such as ASME code standards. These standards demand that SPS be as efficient as possible in our craftsmanship, and at the same time offer a competitive price to our customers.

Documentation is an important aspect to the peace of mind SPS offers its' customers. Equipment fabricated by SPS must meet strict traceability requirements that customers demand of their equipment when used in validated processes or other controlled manufacturing operations.

Quality is important to any manufacturer. We emphasize quality throughout each step

of our manufacturing process, as well as, through to the cosmetic finish of the final product.

Quality through to the finish!
