Welding Supervisor/Foreman


Stainless Process Systems, a small, rapidly growing hi-tech ASME stainless steel fabricator for the semi-conductor, aerospace, food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries seeks a skilled, full time Welding Supervisor/Foreman.



As part of the management team, this position will be responsible for improving workforce skills, maintaining labor costs and minimizing rework.  Attendance at weekly management meetings and contributing to the overall quality of company’s integrity and reputation is expected.   • Person must be skilled in all aspects of welding Tig, Mig, Flux-Core, stick, robotic welders, etc. on predominantly stainless steel and other highly corrosion resistant alloys.  Must be a self-starter, meticulous in workmanship and be able set the example and production pace for the other welders to:

  • Maintain quality and production control of ASME and other non-code work.

  • Work smarter not harder.

  • Read blueprints and follow ASME weld procedures.

  • Maintain production schedules and delivery dates.

  • Work with production manager to maintain workflows for welders, polishers, and other support staff to meet project completion dates.

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

  • Delegate responsibility to other team members their tasks commensurate with their trade skills while working simultaneously on one’s own work.



  • Ability to work with general shop fabrication equipment like mills, lathes, saws.

  • Have excellent fit-up skills and be able to teach and work with others.

  • Ability to weld thin materials of stainless like 14 Ga and thicker.

  • Have excellent sheet metal welding skills to make not only functional welds but also to have a craftsman’s eye for cosmetically pleasing equipment to meet our customers high expectations for how their equipment will be used in pharmaceutical companies.
